A day on Miyajima

With the weather being as gorgeous as it was, we spent the day at Miyajima (literally Shrine Island), just a 10 minute ferry ride away from Hiroshima. The island is famous for it’s “floating” torii and shrine, which make for a stunning sight. We made friends with some deer, enjoyed the sun, had ice cream and tried to stay out of other tourist’s ways.
