With the weather being as gorgeous as it was, we spent the day at Miyajima (literally Shrine Island), just a 10 minute ferry ride away from Hiroshima. The island is famous for it’s “floating” torii and shrine, which make for a stunning sight. We made friends with some deer, enjoyed the sun, had ice cream and tried to stay out...
To make the most of the glorious weather this weekend we decided to pay Southend-on-Sea a visit. With it’s extremely long pier, busy beach and nice coffee, Southend won our hearts over.
